SpringSpring,the sweetSpring,is theyears pleasantking;Then bloomseach thing,then maidsdance in a ring,Cold dothnot sting,the prettybirds dosing,Cuckoo,jug-jug,pu-we,to-witta-woo!The palmand maymake countryhouses gay,Lambs friskand play,the shepherdspipe allday,And wehear ayebirds tunethis merrylay,Cuckoo,jug-jug,pu-we,to-witta-woo!The fieldsbreathe sweet,the daisieskiss ourfeet,Young loversmeet,old wivesa-sunning sit,In everystreet thesestunes ourears dogreet,Cuckoo,jug-jug,pu-we,to-witta-woo!Spring!the sweetSpring!
The Significanceof FailureFailure doesnt mean you area failure,It doesmean youhavent succeededyet.Failure doesnt mean youhave accomplishednothing,It doesmean youhave learnedsomething.Failure doesntmean youhave beena fool,It doesmean youhad alot offaith.Failure doesntmean youvebeen disgraced,It doesmean youwere willingto try.Failure doesntmean youdont haveit,It doesmean youhave todo somethinginadifferent way.Failure doesntmean you are inferior,It doesmean youare notperfect.Failure doesntmean youve wastedyour life,It doesmean youhave areason tostart afresh.Failure doesntmean youshould giveup,It doesmean youmust tryharder.Failure doesntmeanyoull nevermake it,It doesmean itwill takea littlelonger.Failure doesntmean Godhas abandonedyou,It doesmean Godhas abetter idea.这首诗是Robert HaroldSchuller的一篇励志佳作这首诗虽然句尾不押韵,但是由于每句诗都以排比的形式重复使用Failuredoesn5tmean...It doesmean...,使得整首诗节奏感很强,读起来催人奋进,使读者受到感染[佳作赏析]When YouAre OldWhenyouareold andgrey andfull ofsleep,And noddingby thefire, take downthis book,And slowlyread, and dreamof thesoft lookYoureyes hadonce, and oftheir shadowsdeep; How manyloved yourmoments ofglad grace,And lovedyour beautywith lovefalse ortrue,But oneman lovedthe pilgrimsoul inyou,And lovedthe sorrowsof yourchanging face; And bendingdown besidethe glowingbars,Murmur,a littlesadly, how LovefledAnd pacedupon themountains overheadAndhid hisface amida crowdof stars.
