六、了解文化背景,克服母语干扰完形填空中常交织、渗透着各类文化背景知识有些选项的设置与文化背景有关,这就要求考生有较several feetover thecenter line.I swervedas faronto theside of the roadas I could to64it.It wasfollowed bynot onebuttwo otherU-Haul trucksjust as65,I wonderedif all the stuffinside of them66the sameperson.I sloweddown mycar andwaited formy heartrate to67,It was then that I68a self-storage businessalong theside of the highway, building newunits for all thepeople whocouldnt fittheir69intotheir houses.I sawan70couple carryingboxes intoone of the units. It seemed71that a couple just out of their teenscould already have too much stuff.I lostmy own72for owningstuff whena housefire in the middleofthenight destroyedeverything my family owned. The onlything I had leftwas theunderwear I was wearing.Yet,our wholefamily had awakened73to escape. In theweeksthat followedfriends andfamily gaveus a lot ofstuff toget usback onour feet, but noneof itseemed as74any more.What打盹was important was seeingMoms smile, giving Nanaa hugand akiss, and watchingDad snoozein hischair75ahard dayswork. What was important wasthe stuff of76,not thestuff of this world.Since thenI havetried tolimit thethings I would
