2.Presentation15minutes•Introduce thetopic ofsportsmanshipanditsimportancein variousaspects oflife eg,professional,personal,etc..Use visualaids such as picturesor videosto illustratethepoints madeduring thepresentation.•Discuss differentscenarioswheresportsmanshipisessential,suchasin teamsports,individual petitions,and nonpetitiveevents likepublic speakingor debates.•Ask studentsto sharetheir thoughtson whatmakes someoneexhibit goodsportsmanship,both interms ofactions andattitudes.Record theirresponses ontheboard orusing anonline toollike Padlet.
3.Practice15minutes•Divide theclass intosmall groupsof34students each.Assign each group ascenariorelated tosportsmanship e.g.,a studentbeing accusedof cheatingduring atest oracoach reprimandinga playerpublicly.Ask eachgroup tobrainstorm waysto handlethissituation whilestill maintaininggood sportsmanship,and thenpresent theirideasto theclass.The teachercan providefeedback andsuggestions forimprovement.•After allthe groupshave presented,lead aclass discussionon thedifferent approachestakenby eachgroup andwhat theycan learnfrom eachothers examples.Reiterate theimportanceof exhibitinggood sportsmanshipindifferentsituations.
