哈佛大学校长德鲁·福斯特英语演讲稿建立未来的意识和行动DrewFaustthePresidentofHarvardUniversityhaslongbeenavoiceofleadershipandinspirationwithintheacademicworld.Herspeecheshaveoftentouchedontopicsrelatedtothefutureofeducationandsocietyspeakingtotheimportanceofcreatingasenseofawarenessandactioninordertoestablishabetterfutureforourworld.InarecentEnglishlanguagespeechFaustspoketotheideaofcreatinga“consciousnessofthefuture”inoureverydaylives.Thisconsciousnessshearguedwasnecessaryinordertoaddressthemanychallengesthatfaceusasasocietyfromissuesofinequalitytoenvironmentaldegradationandbeyond.TobuildthisconsciousnessFaustdiscussedtheimportanceofeducationininstillinganunderstandingoftheinterconnectednessofourworld.Byteachingstudentstothinkbeyondtheirownindividualexperiencesandtoexaminethelargerglobalcontextshearguedwecaninspireasenseofempathyandappreciationforthefragilityoftheworldweinhabit.BeyondeducationFaustalsoencouragedindividualstotakeactionintheirownlives.Shespoketotheimportanceofsmalleverydaychoicesfromdecidingtorecycletomakingmoresustainablechoicesasconsumers.Throughthesesmallactsofcommitmentshearguedwecancollectivelybegintoshiftthetrajectoryofoursocietytowardsamorepositivefuture.Faustalsospoketotheimportanceofcollectiveactionhighlightingthepowerofmovementssuchastherecentglobalclimatestrikesasevidenceofthepotentialforwidespreadmobilization.Whenindividualscometogetherwithasharedvisionforthefutureshearguedtheycanactasapowerfulforceforpositivechange.FinallyFaustemphasizedtheneedforleadershipinestablishingaconsciousnessofthefuture.ShespoketotheimportanceofpublicfiguresandthoseinpositionsofpowertousetheirplatformstopromoteawarenessandactionhighlightingtheroleofHarvardasaleadinginstitutioninshapingamoresustainableandprogressivefutureforourworld.InclosingFaustencouragedheraudiencetoembracethechallengeofcreatingaconsciousnessofthefuturerecognizingthatthepathtowardsabetterworldisacollectiveandongoingjourney.Througheducationindividualactioncollectivemobilizationandleadershipshearguedwecanbuildabrighterandmoresustainablefutureforgenerationstocome.第PAGE页共NUMPAGES页。
