爱心传递,快乐陪伴——2023年度英语教师工作总结Itwastheyear2023andastheacademicyearcametoacloseItooksometimetoreflectonthepast10monthsofteaching.AsanEnglishteachermygoalwastonotonlyimprovethelanguageskillsofmystudentsbutalsotoinstillvaluesofempathykindnessandcompassioninthem.LookingbackIfeltcontentknowingthatIhadachievedboth.OneinitiativethatIhadintroducedthisyearwastheKindnessChain.Everytimeastudentwascaughtdoingsomethingkindorhelpfultoapeertheyweregivenacardthathadaspecialmessageonit.Thesecardswerethenputupondisplayintheclassroomtocreateachainofkindness.Seeingthechaingrowlongereveryweekremindedmethatsmallactsofkindnesscansnowballintosomethingbiggerandbetter.AnothersuccessfulendeavorwastheReadingBuddiesprogramthatIhadstartedincollaborationwithakindergartenteacher.MystudentswhowereinGrade7werepairedupwithakindergartenstudentandaskedtoreadtothemeveryweek.Initiallysomeofmystudentswereapprehensiveaboutworkingwithyoungerchildrenbutastheweekswentbytheybegantoenjoytheexperience.Notonlydidthishelpimprovetheirreadingskillsbutitalsotaughtthemhowtobepatientempatheticandsupportivetowardsothers.IntermsoflanguageskillsIhadincorporatedmoreproject-basedlearningintomylessons.Forexamplemystudentswereaskedtocreateatravelbrochureforacountryoftheirchoiceusingthelanguageskillsthattheyhadlearntthroughouttheyear.Thisnotonlyallowedthemtopracticetheirwritingandspeakingskillsbutitalsogavethemanopportunitytolearnmoreaboutdifferentcountriesandcultures.ApartfromtheseinitiativesItriedtobethereformystudentswheneverIcould.Imadeitapointtogreetthemeverymorningwithasmileaskthemhowtheyweredoingandlistentothemwhentheyneededtotalk.Thereweretimeswhensomeofmystudentsweregoingthroughtoughtimeswhetheritwasathomeoratschoolandbeingthereforthemmadeallthedifference.InconclusionasIlookbackontheyear2023IfeelgratefulfortheopportunitiesthatIhadtomakeapositiveimpactonmystudents.WhetheritwasthroughsmallactsofkindnessormorestructuredinitiativesIbelievethateveryeffortcounts.BeinganEnglishteacherisnotjustaboutteachingalanguageitsaboutnurturingyoungmindsandhelpingthemgrowintocompassionateempatheticandresponsibleindividuals.第PAGE页共NUMPAGES页。
