必修一Unit4Earthquakes教学设计Teacher CaiQihongTime:45minsStudent:Senior1教材分析本单元以地震为话题,涉及唐山大地震、旧金山地震等事件,本课原设计为阅读课,既TheNightTheEarthDidntSleep这一课的教学设计,但在制作课件过程中,发现可导入很多课外内容,如地球上的灾难,本世纪的大地震,地震的前兆等等,而这些内容与本课息息相关,密不可分如果加进去,容量过大,有舍本逐末之嫌,如果舍去,则少了许多必要的铺垫和导入,对于一篇记叙文来讲,过多挖掘课文内容已显多余于是本课干脆分成两节课来处理,这一节定为课外知识拓展,以地震〃为母板设计教学内容学情分析本次课针对普通班高一学生,高一学生要求达到英语课程标准六级目标,在听说能力上能能听懂口常的要求和指令,能用英语进行简单的语言实践活动大部分学生对地震相关知识有基本了解
一、教学目标.认知目标Knowbasicknowledgeaboutearthquakes.(了解地箧的基本知识)Knowhowtoprotectoneselfandhelpothersinearthquakes.(了解如何自救与他救).语言目标Usenewwordsandphrasestodescribedisasters.在具体的语境中掌握和运用本单元出现的新词汇和短语描述自然灾害Predictmeaningsofnewwordsthroughpicturesandsentences.通过图片及句子对推断新词汇和短语的意义Usesimplecommunicationskillswhendoingdiscussions.通过听说活动锻炼听说及课堂互动的能力.情感态度目标Getthestudentstobeawareoftheterribledisasterszmeanwhilegetthemtofaceitztreatitinaproperwayandnevergetdiscouraged.(使学生对灾难有正确的认识,鼓励用积极的态度来对待它)
