四年级英语教研组第一学期工作总结Asthefirstsemesteroftheacademicyeardrawstoaclosewethefourth-gradeEnglishteachingandresearchgrouptakethisopportunitytoreflectandsummarizeourefforts.Despiteseveraldauntingchallengesourrelentlessdeterminationandteamworkhaveenabledustoachievesignificantmilestones.Englishisavitalsubjectthatplaysacrucialroleinchildrensintellectualandcognitivedevelopment.Ourteammembersdisplayedadeepsenseofcommitmenttostimulatinginterestpromotingactiveengagementandensuringthatthestudentsgraspedthefundamentalconceptsbyintegratingvariousteachingtechniques.BasedonourcollectiveexperiencewehavelistedsomeofthemajoraccomplishmentsoftheEnglishTeachingandResearchGroupinthefirstacademicsemesterof
2023.FirstweensuredthatstudentsEnglishproficiencyimprovedsignificantlybydedicatingmorehourstolanguagepractice.Duringthesemesterweranvariousprogramsthatallowedstudentstohaveamplespeakingpractice.Weconducteddailycommunicationsessionswherestudentsweregivenachancetoexpressthemselvesfreelywhilereceivingconstructivefeedbackfromtheirpeersandteachers.Wealsoheldpeermentoringsessionswherestudentstookturnsmentoringeachothercorrectingpronunciationandinstructioninthoseareaswhereadditionalguidancewasrequired.Theobjectiveoftheseexerciseswastocreateamoreinteractivelearningenvironmentwhereeverystudentslearningpacewasdeterminedbytheirabilities.Secondlywesuccessfullyimplementedproject-basedlearningapproachtoourcurriculum.WetaskedthestudentswithworkinginsmallgroupsandcreatingEnglishprojectsthatwererelatedtotheirdailylives.ThestudentsgottheopportunitytoexploredifferentEnglishresourcesincludingliteratureresearchpapersandonlinevideoswhichprovidedthemwithabroaderunderstandingofthesubjectmatter.Thisproject-basedlearningapproachaimedtoprovidestudentswithalearningenvironmentthatsimulatedreal-worldchallengesandofferedthemanopportunitytopracticetheirlanguageandcriticalthinkingskills.Thirdlywestrengthenedourresilienceasateamandbecamemoreflexibleinourteachingapproaches.DespitethechallengespresentedbytheCOVID-19pandemicwemanagedtoadjusttothenewnormalbyincorporatingremotelearningtoolsandtechniques.WemadearrangementsforonlineteachingduringschoolclosuresandstudentstookpartinremoteEnglishclassesandtests.Atthesametimewealsomadesurethatstudentswhohadlimitedaccesstotechnologyreceivedequalattentionandweprovidedthemwithalternativelearningexperiencesthatdidnotrequireonlinepresence.InconclusiontheEnglishteachingandresearchgroupachievedsignificantprogressduringthefirstsemesteroftheacademicyear.WeremaineddedicatedtoprovidingqualityeducationthatwouldbenefitourstudentsandenablethemtobecomeknowledgeableandaccomplishedEnglishspeakers.Asweheadintothesecondsemesterwearedeterminedtobuildonoursuccessesandcontinuetoprovideourstudentswithhigh-qualityeducationchallengethemtolearnmoreandinspirethemtoreachfortheirdreams.第PAGE页共NUMPAGES页。
