4.FosterCriticalThinking:Studentswilldevelopanalyticalandcriticalthinkingskillsessentialforinterpretingevaluatingandrespondingtocomplextexts.
5.EnhanceCommunicationSkills:Studentswilldeveloporalcommunicationskillsthroughpresentationsdiscussionsanddebates.TeachingMethods:
1.InteractiveLearning:Teacherswillemployavarietyofactivitiesandmaterialstoengagestudentsinactivelearning.Forinstancetheywilluserole-playinggroupdiscussionsanddebatestoencouragestudentstoparticipateandsharetheirideas.
2.CooperativeLearning:Studentswillworkinpairsorsmallgroupstosolveproblemscompletetasksanddiscussideas.Thismethodwillhelpstudentsdevelopsocialskillsteamworkandproblem-solvingabilities.
3.Technology-EnhancedLearning:Teacherswillusetechnologyincludingmultimediavideosandonlineresourcestosupplementface-to-faceinstruction.Thisapproachwillhelpstudentsbuilddigitalliteracyskillsandaccessawiderangeofinformation.Assessment:
1.FormativeAssessment:Teacherswilluseregularformativeassessmentssuchasquizzesclassdiscussionsandshortwritingassignmentstomonitorstudentsprogresscontinuously.Theywillprovidetimelyfeedbacktoguidestudentslearningandaddressanymisconceptions.
2.SummativeAssessment:Attheendofeachunitteacherswilladministersummativeassessmentssuchasexamsessaysandprojectstoevaluatestudentslearningoutcomes.Theseassessmentswillalignwiththeteachinggoalsandmethodsandteacherswilluserubricstoprovidecomprehensivefeedbackonstudentsperformance.
