(1)只能跟动名词作宾语的动词和短语:admit(承认),appreciate(欣赏),avoid(避免)consider(考虑),delay(耽误,延迟)dislike(不喜欢);enjoy(欣赏,享受)esc叩e(逃脱,逃避),excuse(原谅),finish(完成),forgive(原谅),imagine(想象)keep(保持),mind(介意)miss(错过),practise(练习),resist(拒绝,抵制),risk(冒险),suggest(建议),deny(否认,否决)avoid(逃避、回避)等YotTdbettermakegoodpreparationsforyoucan、risklosingthechance.你最好做好准备,因为你不能冒失去这次机会的风险Doyoumind(my)openingthedoor你介意我打开窗户吗?Iavoidedmentioningthesubjectincaseheshouldbeoffended.我回避提及这个话题,以免冒犯他
(2)只能跟不定式作宾语的动词和短语agree(同意),offer(提出),intendplan(打算,计划),demandask(要求),promise(答应),prepare(准备),decide(决定),refuse(拒绝),dare(敢于),choose(选择),wishhopewantexpect(希望,想要),fail(失败),pretend(假装),manage(设法),determine(决心),wouldlike(想做)等Shewillattempttobeattheworldrecord.她试图要打破世界纪录ATheyhaveagreedtogivemeanotherchance.他们已经答应给我另夕卜——次机会Herefusedtotellmetheirplan.他拒绝告诉我他们的计划
(3)有些动词后既可以跟不定式又可以跟动名词作宾语,意义上无多大区别如begin/start(开始);continue(继续);love(喜欢)等但lovelikehateprefer后接动名词表示经常性的行为;接不定式表示具体的行为▲IlikedancingverymuchbutIdontliketodancetoday.非常喜欢跳舞;但是今天我不想去跳舞
(4)有些动词后既可以跟不定式,又可以跟动名词作宾语,但意义上有区别例如▲IrememberedlockingthedoorbeforeIleftbutIforgettoturnoffthelights.我记得在我走之前把门锁好了,但是我忘了把灯关掉
(5)介词后通常跟动名词作宾语,但是but/except后面接不定式作宾语,如果前面有实义动词do则不带toHehadnothingtodobutliedowntosleep.他无事可做,只好躺卜睡觉Ihavenochoicebuttoacceptthefact.我别无选择只好接受事实
3.非谓语动词作状语
(1)不定式-todo做状语表示目的、结果或原因状语其中目的状语只能由不定式表达,可与soasto/inorderto替换,但soasto一般不可置于句首;原因状语多用在某些表示喜、怒、哀、乐等的形容词后;结果状语常表示意想不到的结果,常用onlytodooHehurriedhomeonlytofindhismoneystolen.他匆忙赶至U家结果发现钱被偷了(结果状语)ATomakehimselfheardheraisedhisvoice.为了让自己被人听到,他提高了声音(目的状语)Allofusaresurprisedtoseehisrapidprogress.看到他的迅速进步我们大家都很吃惊(原因状语)
(2)分词作状语现在分词作状语通常表示的是逻辑主语主动发出的动作,即和其逻辑主语是逻辑上的主谓关系,如果和谓语动作同时发生,通常用一般式,即doing的形式;如果先于谓语发生,可用完成式,即havingdone的形式过去分词作状语通常表示的是主语是动作的承受者,即和其逻辑主语是逻辑上的动宾关系分词作状语可表示时间、条件、原因、伴随、让步、方式、结果GivenachanceIcansurprisetheworld.给我一次机会,我可以震惊整个世界(条件状语)Comingintotheroomhefoundhisfatherangry.当他进入房间时,他发现他的父亲很生气(时间状语)Beingtiredtheywentonworking.尽管很累了,可他们继续工作(让步状语)Havingbeenhitbythebigboyonthenosethelittleboybegantocry.因为被那个大孩子打在了鼻子上,那个小孩开始大哭(原因状语)Heputafingerinhismouthtasteditandsmiledlookingratherpleased.他把一只手指放进嘴里,尝了尝,笑了,看起来非常高兴(伴随状语)Pleasemakeasentenceusingthisword.请用这个词造个句子(方式状语)Thecoolingwindsweptthroughourbedroomwindowsmakingairconditioningunnecessary.凉风।吹过我彳门的臣卜室窗户,使得空调不再是必要的(结果状语)温馨小贴士现在分词作结果状语往往表示〃正常出现的、自然而然的或意料之中的〃结果且用“逗号”隔开不定式作结果状语时通常表示〃偶然的、出乎意料的〃一种结果不用“逗号”隔开Hisparentsdiedwhenhewasveryyoungleavinghimanorphan.他父母在他很小时就去世了使得他成了孤儿Thenewsreportershurriedtotheairportonlytobetoldthefilmstarshadleft.记者匆忙赶到机场却被告知电影明星已经离开了\)
(3)系表结构的部分过去分词作状语表示句子主语所处的一种状态不表示被动关系,其前不用being常见的有seated(坐着的)、hidden(躲着)、devoted(专注的)、lost/absorbedin(沉溺于)、bornin(出身于)、dressedin(穿着)、tiredof(厌烦了)等Absorbedinhisbookhedidntnoticemeentertheroom.他专注于读竹,没注意到我进入房间
(4)分词作状语时,其逻辑主语必须同句子的主语一致;如果不一致,需在分词前加一个逻辑主语,分词和它的逻辑主语合称独立主格结构或用状语从句独立主格结构的特点
①独立主格结构的逻辑主语与句子的主语不同,它独立存在;
②独立主格结构中作逻辑主语的名词或代词与后面的分词是逻辑上的主动或被动关系;

(2)常用不定式作后置定语的情况.
①前有thenexttheonlythelast等时中心词(被修饰词)I
②被序数词、形容词最高级等修饰时I

(1)非谓语动词中能作表语的有现在分词、过去分词、动名词和不定式注意现在分词作表语意为“令人感到……的”而过去分词作表语意为“本身感到……的Thesoccermatchwasexcitingandwewereexcitedthewholenight.
(2)动名词作表语是对主语内容的解释或用来表示“身份、职业”等这时主语与表语位置可以互换AOurworkisservingthepeople.
(3)被动语态中的过去分词表示主语的动作系表结构中的过去分词表示主语所处的状态ATheeggswerebroken(hasbeenbroken)byJason.这些鸡蛋是Jason打碎的(被动语态,表示动作)Theeggsarebroken.这些鸡蛋碎了(系表结构,表示主语thewindow所处的状态broken)温馨小贴士并非所有动词的过去分词都可以作表语表示主语所处的状态的,只有那些形容词特征显著的过去分词才能作表语如amused觉得有趣的;injured受伤的;covered盖着的;known有名的;dressed穿着的;lost失去的;broken破的;gone过去了,消失了;burnt烧坏的,灼伤的;delighted高兴的;shut关着的;excited兴奋的;painted着色的,刷上油漆的;pleased高兴的;crowded拥挤的;satisfied满足的;wounded受伤的;married已结婚的;drunk喝醉了的;worried担心的;billed喙的,嘴的;surprised惊讶的;finished完成的;interested有趣的V
76.非谓语动词作补语可用作宾语补足语和主语补足语的非谓语动词有不定式,现在分词,过去分词,用哪种非谓语动词形式取决于前面动词的句型和不同的非谓语动词所表示的意义
(1)能接带to的不定式作宾语补足语和主语补足语的动词有:askadvisetellforcegetallowwantwishlikehatepreferintendexpectencouragepersuadepermitrequestorderwarncauseconsiderprovethinkknowfeelsupposediscoverimaginefind等,表示宾语或主语执行不定式的动作(具有“主动”的意义),而且不定式的动作多发生在句子的谓语动作之后(具有“将来”的意义)TheteacherencouragedustospeakEnglishasmuchaswecaninclass.老师鼓励我们课堂上尽可能多说英语
