小学四年级英语教师教学工作总结——在英语教学中如何注重学生情感教育Asafourth-gradeEnglishteacherIhaverealizedthatteachingalanguageisnotjustaboutthelanguageitselfbutalsoabouttheemotionaldevelopmentofstudents.ThereforeinmyteachingpracticeIhavefocusedonintegratingemotionaleducationinmyEnglishlessons.InthisarticleIwillsharemyexperienceandstrategiesonhowtopayattentiontostudentsemotionaleducationinEnglishteaching.Firstlyitiscrucialtocreateapositiveandsupportivelearningenvironmentforstudents.Ialwaysmakesuretogreetmystudentswithawarmsmileandencouragethemtoparticipateinclassactivities.MoreoverIpromotea“no-judgment”environmentandemphasizetheimportanceofrespectandacceptance.Inthiswaystudentswillfeelcomfortableandsafeinclasswhichisessentialfortheiremotionalwell-being.SecondlyIhavefoundthatusingstorytellingisanexcellentwaytoconnectwithstudentsemotionally.IusuallyreadEnglishstorybookstomystudentsandaskthemtodiscussthecharactersemotionsandfeelings.InthiswaytheynotonlydeveloptheirEnglishlanguageskillsbutalsolearntoempathizewithothers.Moreovertheylearnvaluablelifelessonssuchastheimportanceofhonestyteamworkandkindness.ThirdlyIincorporategroupactivitiesandgamesthatpromoteteamworkandcooperationinmyEnglishlessons.Byworkingtogetheringroupsstudentslearnhowtocommunicateeffectivelyandappreciatethestrengthsofothers.Moreovertheylearntomanagetheiremotionsincludingangerfrustrationanddisappointmentanddevelopapositiveattitudetowardsothers.FurthermoreIencouragestudentstoexpresstheiremotionsandthoughtsinEnglish.ForinstanceIconductrole-playingactivitieswheretheyactoutdifferentscenariosandsituationsexpressingtheirfeelingsandopinionsinEnglish.Throughtheseactivitiestheydeveloptheirlanguageskillsimprovetheiremotionalintelligenceandlearntocommunicateeffectively.FinallyIbelievethatrecognizingandrewardingstudentsachievementsandeffortsisessentialinpromotingemotionaldevelopment.Ifrequentlyacknowledgeandpraisemystudentsfortheiraccomplishmentsnomatterhowsmalltheymayseem.AdditionallyIprovideconstructivefeedbackandencouragethemtolearnfromtheirmistakesboostingtheirself-confidenceandself-esteem.Inconclusionasafourth-gradeEnglishteacherIhavealwaysprioritizedemotionaleducationinmyteachingpractice.BycreatingapositivelearningenvironmentusingstorytellingtoconnectemotionallypromotingteamworkandcooperationencouragingstudentstoexpressthemselvesandrecognizingtheirachievementsIhavewitnessedsignificantimprovementsintheirEnglishlanguageskillsandemotionalintelligence.IstronglyadviseallEnglishteacherstointegrateemotionaleducationintheirteachingpracticefortheholisticdevelopmentoftheirstudents.第PAGE页共NUMPAGES页。
