第二学期英语0902班团支部工作计划有改动ChangesMadetotheWorkPlanoftheEnglish0902ClassCommitteefortheSecondSemesterAtthebeginningofthesecondsemestertheEnglish0902ClassCommitteehadpreparedaworkplanthatcontainedvariousactivitiesandeventsthataimedtobenefitandenhancetheacademicsocialandpersonalgrowthofthestudentsintheclass.HoweverduetounforeseencircumstancessuchasCOVID-19pandemicsomechangeshavebeenmadetotheoriginalworkplan.Inthisarticlewelldiscussthemodificationsandhowtheyimpacttheworkofthe0902ClassCommittee.OnlineClassesandVirtualActivitiesTheCOVID-19pandemichastremendouslyaffectedtheeducationsystemworldwideincludingourschool.Face-to-faceclassesweresuspendedandtheschoolhasresortedtoonlineclassestocontinueprovidingeducationtothestudents.TheEnglish0902ClassCommitteewasquicktoadapttothischangeandweveadjustedourworkplanaccordingly.Wehaveincludedseveralonlineactivitiesthatcatertotheinterestsandneedsofourclassmateswhichwebelievecanimprovetheiracademicperformanceandhelpthemstayup-to-datewiththeirlessonsdespitethepandemic.Onlineworkshopsandseminarshavebeenaddedtotheworkplanwhichwillfocusonenhancingourclassmatesacademicandpersonalskills.Theseworkshopswilltacklevarioustopicslikeessaywritingresearchskillstimemanagementandstressmanagementwhichareessentialskillsforourclassmatestoexcelacademically.Asidefromacademicgrowthwevealsoincludedvirtualsocialeventslikeonlinegamesandvirtualparties.Theseactivitiesaimtofostercamaraderieandinteractionamongourclassmatesdespitethephysicaldistancebroughtaboutbythepandemic.CancellationofPhysicalEventsThesecond-semesterworkplanofthe0902ClassCommitteeinitiallyincludedseveralphysicaleventsthatwouldimproveourclassmatessocialskillsandprovidethemwithopportunitiesforpersonalgrowth.Howeverduetothepandemicithasbecomeimpossibletoholdface-to-faceeventsthatrequireattendancefromalargecrowd.Hencewevedecidedtocancelsomeoftheseactivitiesandhavereplacedthemwithonlinealternatives.Oneoftheinitialplanswastoholdafieldtriptothelocalmuseumtolearnmoreaboutourcultureandheritage.Unfortunatelythiseventhasbeencanceledduetohealthconcerns.Insteadweveplannedavirtualtourofthemuseumwhichcanbeaccessedsafelyfromourhomes.CharityandCommunityServiceTheEnglish0902ClassCommitteehasalwaysputanemphasisonsocialresponsibilityandweveincludedcharityandcommunityserviceprojectsinourinitialworkplan.Howeverduetothepandemicandtheensuingrestrictionsonsocialgatheringsandeventswevehadtomodifyourplans.Initiallywehadplannedtoconductaschoolsuppliesdonationdrivetosupportunderprivilegedstudentsinourcommunity.Howeverduetothelimitationsonphysicalcontactwevechangedourfocustoonlinefundraisingcampaignsandonlinedonationdrives.Wehavealsoincludedvirtualcommunityoutreachprogramsthatourclassmatescanparticipateinfromtheirhomessuchasvirtualmentoringandonlinetutoringprograms.ConclusionTheCOVID-19pandemichasforcedeveryonetoadapttonewcircumstancesandhasbroughtvariouschangestoourdailylives.TheEnglish0902ClassCommitteehastakenthesechangesintoaccountandhasmodifiedourworkplantoprovideourclassmateswiththebestsupportpossibledespitethechallenges.Ouronlineactivitiesvirtualeventsandcommunityoutreachprogramsaimtoenhanceourclassmatesacademicsocialandpersonalgrowthwhilekeepingeveryonesafeduringthistimeofuncertainty.第PAGE页共NUMPAGES页。
