ll-timehoursinadditiontostudying.ManagementinthisjobdidnotunderstandmystudyandeventhreatenedtofiremeifIdidntcomeinforanextrashiftthatconflictedwithmyclass.Thefamilysfinancialsituationeventuallyledtoevictionwhichunfortunatelycoincidedwithfinalsweekandstrugglestoaffordtextbooks.HoweverasthefirstpersoninmyfamilytoeverattenduniversityIfeltitwasmydutytopersevereandkeepgoing.Mymotivationcamefromadeepdesiretolearnandgrow.Manyofmyquestionswereaboutthepastandhowtheywouldimpactourfuture.Ispentmyundergraduateyearsstudyinghistoricalfiguresthatmadeadifferencedespitecomingfromchallengingbackgroundsthemselves.ThesefigureswouldformthebasisformyworldviewanditistheirlivesandimpactthatIhopetocontinuetofollowasanM.A.student.AllofthathardworkwouldpayoffwhenIgraduatedwithhonorswithmyB.A.HoweverIknewIwasntdonelearning.NowIamturningmyattentiontograduateschoolandIbringwithmethatsamededicationcommitmentandpassionthathelpedmeovercomealltheobstaclesthatstoodinmyway.IthoroughlyhopeyouwillgivemetheopportunitytodemonstratethisatMSC.。
